There is good news for Sporting KC fans as they head into their 2017 tilt. In partnership with Legends Hospitality, the club has announced that it will be lowering concession prices across Children’s Mercy Park.

Sporting KC President Jake Reid is heading up the changes and noted that the change is a result of fan feedback. “Part of that is continuously listening to our fans’ sentiments and reacting in the best way possible. Decreasing prices for water, soda, beer and several food options reflects our mission to delight the best fans in Major League Soccer.” The move is in line with the club’s dedication to give their fans the best in-stadium experience in the MLS.
Sporting KC and Legends Hospitality’s biggest price decrease is to beverages. Fans will see a 20 percent reduction from 2016 prices on bottled water, soda, and beer. Fans can also enjoy Margaritas, double cocktails and menu items such as hot dogs, bratwursts, chips and grilled cheese sandwiches at a lower cost.
A full list of price reductions can be found on Sporting KC’s website. On the club’s official site, fans can also pick up tickets to every tilt for the 2017 season.
The lower prices align with a newer trend of lower cost food and beverage options at stadiums. Just last year the Atlanta Falcons announced $2 Hot Dogs at their new stadium.
