Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, has been known for years for having some of the best food in baseball. Now, for 2017, they've done it again. Aramark, the hospitality partner of the Mets, has brought even more new additions to the ballpark including a surefire fan favorite.
"If the lineup on the field is half as good as the lineup we've got in the kitchen," said chef Josh Capon as he introduced his new Bash Burger, "we're going back to the Series and we're gonna win the whole thing this time."

Fans have three options with The Bash Burger. The regular (six ounce Pat LaFrieda patty, onion and bacon jam, pickles, American cheese, special sauce), the Double Barrel (two four ounce Pat LaFrieda patties, American cheese, fried onions, pickles, secret sauce) and the Classic (six ounce Pat LaFrieda patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, American cheese, special sauce).
Speaking of Pat LaFrieda, he's bringing Steak Frites to the Mets stadium - Black angus hand-cut beef, sautéed sweet Vidalia onions, beef au jus, topped with Vermont Monterey jack cheese sauce over fresh fried Idaho waffle fries

The biggest introduction to the ballpark this year will surely be Cookie Dō. These edible gourmet cookie dough cafe opened up in Greenwich Village in January. It's been such a hit, less than 4 months later they are in the preeminent sports food shrine in Citi Field. The stadium will sell the top-seller Chocolate Chip as well as Sugar Cookie and Cake Batter topped with orange and blue sprinkles (Mets colors)

Citi Field officials also unveiled the new Jim Beam Bourbon Bar located behind the Home Run Apple in centerfield which is set to be a key addition in 2017.
"Obviously you have to be 21 or older to enjoy that, but it's going to really become a signature piece in the ballpark, because it is very visible," said Lou DePaoli, the Mets' executive vice president and chief revenue officer. "It's in the high-traffic area in center field, behind our Big Apple seats, and I think that's going to become a destination for people to go to enjoy the game, because you get to see the game there, but you also get to enjoy one of our products. There are also top food options there as well."
New York Cheesesteak
A few other additions to the menu include the New York Cheesesteak. Shaved ribeye with caramelized onions & sweet cherry peppers, choice of homemade cheddar whiz, picante provolone or classic American, served on a locally baked baguette.
