The restaurant is part of a three year contact between Nicklaus and Delaware North that officially began last month.
The deal came out of the relationship between Nicklaus and Boston Bruins owner Brandon Jacobs who also owns Delaware North. The two met when Jacobs became a founding member of The Bear Club in Jupiter, Florida in 1999.
In addition to the South Florida restaurant, Nicklaus plans to build another in the Charlotte International Airport and possibly in his hometown of Columbus, OH at the Blue Jackets' Nationwide Arena, both Delaware North properties.
